Cyber threats are growing in PNG, and small businesses are the most at risk. The PNG Cyber Defender Program is a free online course designed to help micro; small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) build their cyber safety skills and protect their digital future.
The Cyber Security Training program is being provided by the Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Macquarie University through the PNG–Australia Partnership.
Apply now via the Expression of Interest (EOI) form below. EOIs close Friday 5th September 2025.
Successful applicants will be notified by email after that and the course kicks-starts on 10th September to 5th of October at Midnight.

This program is open only to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in PNG, defined as:

One person can apply per business with up to 10 employees
Two people can participate from businesses with 11–100 employees
Only one application per business is required
A second training seat will be offered automatically to eligible businesses
