PNG Cyber Defender Program

The PNG Cyber Defender Program is a nationwide initiative aimed at strengthening Papua New Guinea's cybersecurity posture by empowering its citizens with knowledge and skills. The program is designed to transform the public into "Cyber Defenders" who can act as ambassadors for cyber hygiene and safety. The program's core goal is to combat the growing threat of cybercrime in PNG by promoting a culture of security awareness. It achieves this through interactive learning, certifications, and rewards for participants. The initiative focuses on educating individuals on how to recognize and respond to common cyber threats, frauds, and scams, ultimately helping to protect themselves, their families, and their communities in the digital world.
